Certified as a Radiologist by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, Dr. Clark obtained her medical degree at the University of Manitoba. Robin graduated with a bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University in 1998. She knew she wanted to work with people and provide patient care. This lead her to complete her studies in Medical Radiography in 2002, and then on to Diagnostic Medical Sonography, in 2005. Both of these programs were completed in the fully accredited programs at BCIT. She is certified by both Sonography Canada and the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
Robin has enjoyed a busy career working as an Ultrasound Technologist over the past 12 years! She has worked in both hospital and clinic settings. She currenlty works as an instructor in the BCIT Sonography program when she is not busy working at Access! She is passionate about the profession and believes in providing quality imaging along with the best patient experience possible.

I started my career as an Xray Technologist for five years before making the move into MRI nine years ago. I have had the pleasure of working at Vancouver General Hospital and Access MRI since then, and have had experience at Surrey Memorial and Royal Columbian Hospitals as well. About five years ago I started doing MRI research at VGH, and so I have found a wonderful mix of very rewarding work in a field that I both enjoy and am fascinated with. Ongoing improvement and lifelong learning are important to me, as is having a small but positive impact on those I get to scan every day.

After two years as a Laboratory Technologist, she explored training opportunities on other diagnostic modalities and landed in the Cardiac Diagnostic Laboratory of the Philippine Heart Center.
